Busy Saturday

I finally got some circle journals and finished that so I could send it off on Monday. Here is Kelly's, which was to make a scrapbook about a roadside shrine. Which luckily I found a fabulous one near Kirk's house that the Mexicans made of a tree stump that they think looks like the Virgin Mary:

Here is the second circle journal I received which asked to write about a service provider that you dislike the most. I of course put my old health benefit provider because they just sucked.

Lastly we had a felt challenge, this is the first time I've worked with felt and sewing on with the floss thread. It's my first attempt so don't laugh too hard hehe.

It's Finished!!

Yeah!!! I finally finished the birthday book. I really made it simple because I didn't want the book to be too thick, I'm sure that I will make yet another mini book with my most fav pictures of course. Maybe a mini book or something, but for now I wanted to make sure to have a 12x12 book for her, just like I did my pregnancy and her baby book stuff so she could see it when she gets bigger (she is my daughter sorry I forgot to mention her bday party). I hope when she grows up she really appreciates all the albums and photos that I'm saving for her to see and all the good times she had that she might not be able to remember. Here are the remaining pages:

More Lo's

This one is the second page from the last lo

I'm actually quite happy with myself that I am finishing pages quickly, even though there isn't much embelishment I want this album to be simple easy and quick. But of course now I'm so exhausted that I just have to go to sleep lol

Another Page

Yeah! After my daughter finally wanted to go to sleep, which can I say took forever and a day. She knocked out like a ton of bricks and I was able to do one page, which worked for two things. A challenge to life a LO of one of my whores (aka queen kelly) and a page for my daughters 1st birthday book. I really need to get craccking on those pages before I lose my mojo and move onto something else.

Isabella's Birthday

These are the first couple pages (obviously not being done in order lol) of Isabella's first birthday party ... I know it's not a lot but I haven't or can't seem to find the time to scrap anymore. I'm hoping obligations will start to settle down just a bit so I can start getting some work done.

Finished Book

So my girl finally received it and loved it which is great, so here is the finished mini book.

Sneak Peak

This is a project that I'm working on for my secret sister ... it's a kids board book altered. The cover is actually fabric (a fat quarter from Rag Shop, which is going out of business), the rest is regular cardstock. I'll put some embelishments and ribbon of course, still not sure if I should tie it together with ribbon or rings, hmmm that will be one to ponder for a day or two.

Virginia Beach Ruler Book

I bought this book at the Junkitz sale last year and am finally getting use of it. Here is the album I made of the trip me and Kirk took together without the baby. It was fun to be alone for once, but still we missed her.

Maze Book

This book was so easy and fun to make that I think I'll make a couple more here and there for everyday kind of things, simple things but of course I'll actually take advantage of the pockets that are available on the next one. I got the directions from Craft Tv Weekly , I can't wait to make more.

Unpubbed Entry

Here is my next attempt at an Unpubbed Challenge. I loved this layout it was really easy to make and still turned out very nice, great lift challenge.
