Update lots of pictures

Here's a picture of my daughter from today she looks like a tough skater chick with that bandaid and that dirty look, i love it!!! BTW don't tell Wal-mart that she took the bandaid and killed the box lol, she's so bad and I'm worse for letter her do it but everyone does it at least once lol.

I went to a coworkers baby shower and this has to be the first baby shower i went to that had drag queen comedians for entertainment, no games or nothing like that no attention on the mother to be at all, it was all about the drag queens, it was a first and it was too funny.I went to a wedding show in front of Macy's in Menlo Park mall with my friend. the dresses wasn't all that but it was fun none the less. I love this first one because it was all big and flowy. i loved sharing this experience with my friend because i'm not really a part of the wedding other than a guest, eh whatever i'm not really mad at that. i don't think i'm wedding material. like yeah i know what i mean if u know what i mean lol.

here are two bookmarks i made for a swap again i'm not so great at bookmarks i couldn't make it too embelished cause duh it goes in a book but i dont think it turned out toooo bad.

I will be going to the circus next weekend so expect many many pictures since it will really be my first experience at a circus, and my daughters too. cross fingers that it goes well LOL there will be five of us going. me, kirk, isabella my mom and uncle. I can't wait i'm so excited that i'm going to the circus!!!!

Target Pirate Argh

Here's a yummy cake i did for my uncle and kirk ... it was strawberry, chocolate and white cake. three layers covered with strawberries and icing. And below was some chocolate covered strawberries that we had this past weekend. It was dipping chocolate not the kind that freezes hard. it was super yummy. i would def buy it again.

haha here i am dying my hair ghetto style with a target bag on my head while i wait for it to color. haha. So last weekend before v-day was my uncle's and kirk's birthday so we decided to take them to atlantic city for the weekend. we had a good time. here's a picture of most of us outside our hotel rooms on the balcony. it was slightly chilly but we had a good time and i found this candy store called isugar.com i think thats it. it was super yummy.

So that's pretty much all i've been up to lately and oh yeah Kirk got laid off so guess who's pickin up a couple more bills .... this economy is too hard for me :-(

atc galore

From Bad to Bad

I leave one company where they kept telling me i was on the list to be fired but wasn't fired because i left before i could and sure enough i go to another job where now today alone about 10 people were fired there are now only about 35 people in the office all together. they say we are safe but one never knows. so i went from bad to bad. they tell us now that we are safe that the people who are left are going to be the people who are left, at least for a long while i guess. but they cut down our days off, they raised our hours and now we have more work to do. i guess this is the economy hitting us hard because that's what jobs are now - doing more work and getting paid the same. it sux i have the biggest headache ever and i had to go to lunch before i started to cry for my friends that were leaving. it was just sad all around. it's been a loooong day.

atc galore

Here's a picture of Isabella. She's growing so quick. She'll have the longest conversations with you about nothing in particular it's too funny. She loves making long speeches very loudly too but you just can't help but love her, even if she is bad sometimes. She is two after all. I think soon it will be time to have another one. I'm contemplating April maybe. We'll see how things go. Maybe i'll just surprise you one day. Here are a bunch of atc's i've done lately. i just love swap-bot and join as many as i can. these are some i did for swaps. sometimes i wish i could keep them cause i like them so much but i let them go sadly to other people's homes where they will take good care of them, i hope lol.

My cake

Turned out great, I'll have to upload pics when I get home (at least they are on my comp that's a step up lol) it was a hit at the party. I could have done better but for my first time you know I tried. Plus not to mention I did a three layer square instead of a two layer round. Next time I will make it round though. Square was really hard. So I have to upload my atc pics lately too i have tons. I've been contemplating about doing 1 a day. obviously it can't start on the 1st since it's already the 27th but i can start feb 1 and do it that way. Also I've been contemplating doing a journal prompt type thingy. Maybe. We shall see what happens. I can always start things it's just finishing them that is the problem. hehe. obviously.

here's the birthday girl .. oh to be 15 again how differently i would do some things and then pictures of just the cake from the front and from the sides. again i'm not a professional but i think it turned out quite nice.

Here's a picture of my little helper lol. She is such a mess but too funny for words sometimes. She wanted to ice some of the cupcakes so i gave her some of the extras and let her have at it.

I love baking but i really have to be in the mood for it. We'll see what the next project will be.

I'm still alive ... no joke.

So i know i haven't updated in a long time. With this new job my whole life style pretty much had to change. i have less time at home and with my daughter and even less time to do personal things. I've been addicted to atcs and once i upload the pictures I'll make sure and post what I've been up to lately. But i come here with another great thing i love to do and make. Cakes.

This is the cake I plan to start on tonight. It will probably take me I don't know maybe three days to make. One day to make the cakes and let them cool off, one day to make the fondant bows and cut the remaining pieces, and one day to roll the fondant onto the cake and get it put together. Cross your fingers that I get my fondant to roll out the right way. And oh btw the cake I'm making is like this but square. i wanted to make it more like a present. It's for my friends daughter who's birthday was yesterday (i forgot to call and wish her happy bday but i forgot, oh well i will be making her a cake that's good enough). Anyways we are having a surprise party for her on Saturday. I really hope this cake turns out perfect i really really do. Cross your fingers please. Tonight I'm baking the cakes it will be all chocolate cause what girl doesn't love chocolate.

I will try and take some pictures of the products and the process or at least the ending result of the day :-) I'm so excited I just can't wait to start. Well I can cause I wouldn't mind going to sleep early but now that I know that's never going to happen ha ha. I will see what I can do.

Right now I'm at work and I should probably be working but I really don't want to. It's 10 am and I'm ready to either A. go to lunch or B. just go home. I wish it could be the latter but I know it's neither, cause I still have 2 hours until lunch time. Not that I'm hungry cause I'm not. I just want to get out of here as soon as possible. I'm so over work you know what I think I hate the most that every single time we don't make our number (which is every week I kid you not) we are constantly threatened that one of our jobs is on the line. I really dislike that very much. Don't threaten me to do a better job. It's not my fault we are out of stock on product. It's not my fault the customers don't pay on time (times are tough), it's not my fault that the orders aren't coming in. After all I'm just a Sales Administrator I'm not the SalesMAN. It just sucks constantly being reminded that you could be gone at the drop of a hat. Like as if we didn't have enough to worry about in this world I also have to constantly think about my job and how I might lose it. This threatening demeanor does not make me want to work harder. It only makes me want to leave faster.

Nothing else really is going on in my life right now. Just the norm day to day routines. Another day, another dollar.
