Here is a round robin swap above, the first picture is the three i replaced and the three i took from the swap. This is my first round robin on swap bot so i hope it goes well. can't wait to see who takes my atcs.

Here are a couple of Skinny's which I just discovered. They are like ATC's but instead of being playing card size these are 3x5 cards and I absolutely love them I think they are the most perfect size and I can't wait to send these out and get some back and join more swaps. If anyone is interested in a private swap please let me know cause I'm more than willing.

These four are for a swap I'm doing that we are altering a deck of cards, this is for the queens obviously and yes I realize there are nothing but boys on there, but I thought it was kind of funny cause the kings I did had nothing but women on them lol. Who knows what I will do with the jokers lol since they are next after all.

This last picture is of four twinchies i did, they are like inchies but instead of being one by one they are two by two. these are cute to but still I'm loving the skinny size. Anyways so that's what I worked on last night, rather late of course but it's the only time I can do anything with having two kids now of course. It's been hectic beyond belief but I'm loving it.

So I finally scrapped for the first time this year and i'm going to try real hard to keep it up. I don't know how but i will. Below you will see a top 10 book that i have started with prompts given at Scrapgal for a challenge they are having that you only need to do one a month. How easy is that and it will all revolve around a top ten list. The first is resolution/unresolutions. I'm hoping to make all of mine come true as soon as possible so at least i can finally say hey i made my stuff come true finally haha. Below that is an ATC I did that had a Bingo theme to it. Pumpkin Picking 2009

So we finally made it pumpkin picking and it was great. The weather was beautiful and everyone was happy to get out and have some fun doing some fallish things. Below is my mom - that's her one nut LOL don't ask haha. We told her she has to have two but this one was too big to have a partner.This is the pumpkin that Isabella picked up she's too funny cause she picked it up and then she freaking threw the thing LOL, but I took it home and this is the one she will be carving and she'll have fun because she needs to do everything that everyone else is doing.

Here is Brenda instead of looking like two nuts it looks like she just gave birth to two pumpkins it's too funny. We all had a great time together that's for sure. Being silly women hanging out.

After the pumpkin picking and a quick stop at home only the ladies were off to the flea market, man let me tell you my legs were aching by the end of the night and I was ready to just pass out as soon as I could. But all in all it was fun and it was worth it, next we'll carve the pumpkins and then of course the loveliness of Halloween and trick or treating. I just can't wait to get my hands on all that candy haha.

Twilight Altered Book

This might be the longest blog ever with pictures. i created this swap with a friend to alter an entire book with Twilight stuff. the only stipulation was that it had to be at least 100 pages and i think i did a pretty good job. so here are all my altered pages it took me about three months to finish it but it's finally completed and in the mail to Switzerland it will go tomorrow, can't wait to finally let it go. even though i would love to keep the book for myself just because i did so much to it but still it's good to finally be done and i don't think i will ever do a swap this time consuming again. by the end i was ready to be done with it.

Here is the mini book i made from my vacation to DR. It was the project me and my bff were working on last weekend for many hours lol. it was fun but it's been ages since I've done a mini book so it was a challenge to me for sure. and under that is a layout i did because she hadn't finished her mini book yet so i decided to do a layout to kill time. I think everything turned out real cute. I used more stuff that Kelly gave me - she's the best hehe.

First I did these the other day - yes more twilight you know the new movie is coming out soon right!!! Can't wait of course to see how this one turns out i think it will be better than the first one, I hope but again nothing will quite compare to the books ever. My Fabulous friend Kelly sent me some scrap stuff, a whole box full of major goodies and I finally got a chance to work on some stuff today. Hope she's proud of me lol. The first is of my parents they just celebrated their 33rd anniversary of being married. Crazy right, one day I'll make it there ... maybe who knows.

The second is a pic of my family chillin on the bench after it rained while we were on vacation, just relaxing and killing some time together - good times. I had so much fun on vacation there are definitely some memories I won't be forgetting any time soon. If you want to check out my vacation pics they are on my flickr account.

Hopefully I'll get to scrap some more tomorrow because I printed at least eight pictures so I have stuff to scrap for sure and I'm ready to go today was a lot of fun. I used only what she gave me (other than the rhinestones and the flowers cause if you scrap i'm sure you have a crapload of prima flowers from way back when. I need to make one of those ball things to get rid of them you know like a flower pot or something, maybe i'll do that one day. how do you make it again with pins right?)

Thanks for checking out my stuff, more to come for sure and also I'm working on a special project for a swap I'm in where it is a twilight altered book. In other words it's an entire book (more than 100 pages) scrapped and altered and filled with Twilight Saga goodness, can't wait to unveil that one, I'm really happy with a lot of the pages. I'm almost done I just have to wait till I finish before I start to scan cause I just KNOW it's going to take me forever and a day literally to scan all those pages. I'm off it's late and I'm tired and just a tad bit sick, laterz!

So i did two pages last night. (Told ya Kelly lol) This was really hard to do, well the first one (Kirk) cause I just wasn't feeling it, but the one of Isabella flowed so smoothly I'm really happy the way it turned out. So not tooo shabby for someone who hasn't scrapped in months or longer LOL. I wish I had all my stuff more organized though cause I couldn't find anything last night. I did print out a couple more pictures so maybe I'll try and do some more tonight (if I get home early). So please let me know what you think.

So I've been checking out some of my friends blogs today and I feel 100% inspired to go home and scrap now. I don't remember the last time I did a scrapbook page but since I'm really really low on cash right now I have to cut back on my swaps and just do stuff for me I guess. Even though I haven't been in the mood lately - money troubles really depresses me. Like you wouldn't imagine. Anyway so now I feel like going home and scrapbooking. Mind you I have absolutely NO NEW PRODUCT. Of course I can't go and buy any either cause DUH money issues lol. So I will try and use all my old products this should be fun. Mind you it's about 10 am right now and I'm still at work and I don't know what lies in store for me for the rest of the day so I hope that I'm still feeling like this later on today when I can actually do something about it. My only plan for today was just to go home shower and crawl into bed all depressed like. So instead I will scrap.

Birthday Cake

Here is the cake I worked so hard on for Isabella's 3rd birthday party. The theme was Circus/Carnival, it really turned out nicely. I had a clown come and do some face painting and the kids loved it except Isabella because she was scared of the clown. Oh well I tried, she just doesn't like being the center of attention really. i had a good time, people who weren't supposed to come came and some that were didn't. It really worked out fabulously because it didn't rain, no arguements, no drunkeness, it was great. I'm ready for vacation now LOL.

I went to see little mermaid on Broadway unfortunately i don't have pictures because i so brilliantly left my camera at home. i bought a disposable one now i just have to go develop it. who knows how the pictures turned out lol. Maybe I'll go and develop them this weekend. If i remember. Um that's it pretty much.

I'm going to Va beach for my birthday we already booked the room so I'm getting excited about it. i just hope the weather cooperates cause it's may and it was 48 degrees this morning I'm freaking freezing over here i don't know whats going on.

Wicked!

So for my mother's birthday present I took her to go see Wicked, this musical is forever sold out and has so many great reviews that people really love it. well we went to NY and saw Wicked. i've seen a couple musicals already enough to compare it to. I was actually a little disappointed because it wasn't what I expected, I wanted more. I mean the story was good, it was okay but it wasn't my favorite. I still love Beauty and the Beast more, but it was better than Tarzan, which i didn't like really at all, which i believe isn't even playing anymore lol. Anyway here are some pics from our trip to NY. we saw Spongebob and went to M&M world, but we didn't buy any chocolate lol go figure. We are actually going again in two weeks to see Little Mermaid but she doesn't know that yet because it's her Mother's day gift.

So I told my mom that we were going to take her to Red Lobster to eat dinner for her birthday but I had to stop at her friends house to get something, then SURPRISE! We threw a little party for her. It was a success she was genuinely surprised. Here are some pictures from that. She really lucked out though cause instead of spending 200 bucks at Red Lobster for all of us to eat she got presents and $300 bucks in gift certificates to buy herself things. Success!

Bring Your Child to Work day

So last month it was bring your child to work day. I was a little hesitant because she's such a bad kid sometimes, you know the whole terrible two things but she's really growing up because she was excellent. Isabella stayed with me for a while but then once all the other kids showed up she was gone. Running around the whole office with everyone else. She was really good and even sat down with me a little again later. When we got home she was so unbelievably tired it was too funny. She couldn't even move and was very whiny and tired. It must be hard for her getting up at 530 and running around until 4. We had a good day and I would definitely bring her back next year.

here's a pic of isabella making piles in the dirt while her dad was taking the weeds out to get ready for planting soon. Easter sunday we went over to my brothers and had an easter egg hunt, here's isabella with her godparents helping her find the eggs. she picked them up but they helped her find them all, i think in the end she had the most eggs but no money in them.

here are some of the eggs hidden on the tree, the kids couldn't reach but they passed them by and my brother gave them to isabella.

Here are some Atc's i worked on tonight. i love how all these twilight atc's turn out and haha i just noticed i scanned one of them upside down LOL i'm so not doing it over lol but you get the picture maybe one day i'll separate these so you can get a closer look. oh and lately i've been a lot of those dollar stamps you know the ones i'm talking about in the Michael's bin etc i'm lovin those lil clear stamps i want them all i'm going to just get a really big collection of them. i used some in some of the atc's i made below. for example the last one that's a stamped image and then i just covered it with stickles. another love of mines which i need to stock up on again. ugh can't wait till Thursday cause it's pay day. i could use the moolah i'm so broke lol. enjoy the atc's i'm going to try and go do something so i can take pictures at least.

A miracle has happened

A miracle happened today ... i actually scrapped three pages. here are two of the three that i did. the other one is still drying and i'm just super tired. it's been ages since i've scrapped but talkin to my girls yesterday gave me the biggest urge to do some pages. i have no clue what's out there anymore in the scrapbook world so hopefully mines seem up to date i dont' want to be all old skool and shit lol. the first is my friend we surprised her for her birthday with a party. the second is my lil punk beauty isabella. she's so gangsta sometimes lol i need to teach her the word YO hahah nah that would get too annoying after a while.

Here are the last atc's i made. i made more after that but unfortunately i never took pictures of them. i think after this i'm goign to have to start scanning them cause the pics are just not turning out that well duh lol. i'm lovin how they turned out though. most of them are for me which is weird cause i never do any for myself so i had to. i'm doing a whole twilight alphabet thing for myself too. anyways thanks for looking.

i'll probably make more atc's tomorrow i'll have to think about it thought cause it all depends on what i do tomorrow. i'm going to go see the fast and furious and i can't wait. i hope it's as good as the first one. plus vin diesel and paul walker are HOT HOT HOT!!!! i'll be drooling just watching them. can't wait. then on sunday we're going to a farm to hang out with the animals and do an egg hunt. hopefully it wont rain because then we won't be able to go. alright it's late and i'm tired. until then.

Here's a picture of my daughter from today she looks like a tough skater chick with that bandaid and that dirty look, i love it!!! BTW don't tell Wal-mart that she took the bandaid and killed the box lol, she's so bad and I'm worse for letter her do it but everyone does it at least once lol.

I went to a coworkers baby shower and this has to be the first baby shower i went to that had drag queen comedians for entertainment, no games or nothing like that no attention on the mother to be at all, it was all about the drag queens, it was a first and it was too funny.I went to a wedding show in front of Macy's in Menlo Park mall with my friend. the dresses wasn't all that but it was fun none the less. I love this first one because it was all big and flowy. i loved sharing this experience with my friend because i'm not really a part of the wedding other than a guest, eh whatever i'm not really mad at that. i don't think i'm wedding material. like yeah i know what i mean if u know what i mean lol.

Here's a yummy cake i did for my uncle and kirk ... it was strawberry, chocolate and white cake. three layers covered with strawberries and icing. And below was some chocolate covered strawberries that we had this past weekend. It was dipping chocolate not the kind that freezes hard. it was super yummy. i would def buy it again.

haha here i am dying my hair ghetto style with a target bag on my head while i wait for it to color. haha. So last weekend before v-day was my uncle's and kirk's birthday so we decided to take them to atlantic city for the weekend. we had a good time. here's a picture of most of us outside our hotel rooms on the balcony. it was slightly chilly but we had a good time and i found this candy store called isugar.com i think thats it. it was super yummy.

So that's pretty much all i've been up to lately and oh yeah Kirk got laid off so guess who's pickin up a couple more bills .... this economy is too hard for me :-(

I leave one company where they kept telling me i was on the list to be fired but wasn't fired because i left before i could and sure enough i go to another job where now today alone about 10 people were fired there are now only about 35 people in the office all together. they say we are safe but one never knows. so i went from bad to bad. they tell us now that we are safe that the people who are left are going to be the people who are left, at least for a long while i guess. but they cut down our days off, they raised our hours and now we have more work to do. i guess this is the economy hitting us hard because that's what jobs are now - doing more work and getting paid the same. it sux i have the biggest headache ever and i had to go to lunch before i started to cry for my friends that were leaving. it was just sad all around. it's been a loooong day.

Here's a picture of Isabella. She's growing so quick. She'll have the longest conversations with you about nothing in particular it's too funny. She loves making long speeches very loudly too but you just can't help but love her, even if she is bad sometimes. She is two after all. I think soon it will be time to have another one. I'm contemplating April maybe. We'll see how things go. Maybe i'll just surprise you one day. Here are a bunch of atc's i've done lately. i just love swap-bot and join as many as i can. these are some i did for swaps. sometimes i wish i could keep them cause i like them so much but i let them go sadly to other people's homes where they will take good care of them, i hope lol.

Turned out great, I'll have to upload pics when I get home (at least they are on my comp that's a step up lol) it was a hit at the party. I could have done better but for my first time you know I tried. Plus not to mention I did a three layer square instead of a two layer round. Next time I will make it round though. Square was really hard. So I have to upload my atc pics lately too i have tons. I've been contemplating about doing 1 a day. obviously it can't start on the 1st since it's already the 27th but i can start feb 1 and do it that way. Also I've been contemplating doing a journal prompt type thingy. Maybe. We shall see what happens. I can always start things it's just finishing them that is the problem. hehe. obviously.

here's the birthday girl .. oh to be 15 again how differently i would do some things and then pictures of just the cake from the front and from the sides. again i'm not a professional but i think it turned out quite nice.

So i know i haven't updated in a long time. With this new job my whole life style pretty much had to change. i have less time at home and with my daughter and even less time to do personal things. I've been addicted to atcs and once i upload the pictures I'll make sure and post what I've been up to lately. But i come here with another great thing i love to do and make. Cakes.

This is the cake I plan to start on tonight. It will probably take me I don't know maybe three days to make. One day to make the cakes and let them cool off, one day to make the fondant bows and cut the remaining pieces, and one day to roll the fondant onto the cake and get it put together. Cross your fingers that I get my fondant to roll out the right way. And oh btw the cake I'm making is like this but square. i wanted to make it more like a present. It's for my friends daughter who's birthday was yesterday (i forgot to call and wish her happy bday but i forgot, oh well i will be making her a cake that's good enough). Anyways we are having a surprise party for her on Saturday. I really hope this cake turns out perfect i really really do. Cross your fingers please. Tonight I'm baking the cakes it will be all chocolate cause what girl doesn't love chocolate.

I will try and take some pictures of the products and the process or at least the ending result of the day :-) I'm so excited I just can't wait to start. Well I can cause I wouldn't mind going to sleep early but now that I know that's never going to happen ha ha. I will see what I can do.

Right now I'm at work and I should probably be working but I really don't want to. It's 10 am and I'm ready to either A. go to lunch or B. just go home. I wish it could be the latter but I know it's neither, cause I still have 2 hours until lunch time. Not that I'm hungry cause I'm not. I just want to get out of here as soon as possible. I'm so over work you know what I think I hate the most that every single time we don't make our number (which is every week I kid you not) we are constantly threatened that one of our jobs is on the line. I really dislike that very much. Don't threaten me to do a better job. It's not my fault we are out of stock on product. It's not my fault the customers don't pay on time (times are tough), it's not my fault that the orders aren't coming in. After all I'm just a Sales Administrator I'm not the SalesMAN. It just sucks constantly being reminded that you could be gone at the drop of a hat. Like as if we didn't have enough to worry about in this world I also have to constantly think about my job and how I might lose it. This threatening demeanor does not make me want to work harder. It only makes me want to leave faster.

Nothing else really is going on in my life right now. Just the norm day to day routines. Another day, another dollar.

She is just too young to be like this already - talking on the phone all comfortable on the bed with her legs crossed ... she's just too much and she's only two.
I don't know what it is about babies but she loves them all, she has like five babies and i'm sure for Christmas she will have five more.

Here we are carving pumpkins ... i think i was the only one who finished actually carving a pumpkin i dont know i think we started too late and everyone was way too tired to actually finish a pumpkin so they all pretty much sucked this year.

Here is Isabella in her sparkly witch costume - which by the way we found at the flea market for ten bucks brand new. cause who uses a costume more than once. she looked great in it and she had a great time running from house to house yelling trick or treat and happy halloween. it's just too funny. we all had a great time taking her around, even if she got tired after going around ONE block lol but we convinced her to keep going and by the end she was ready to go home and so were we.

here's her and her grandmother - who by the way did not go trick or treating with us. she was stuck giving out the candy, lucky her.

So i'm hoping Isabella will go to sleep early tomorrow and I will be able to do some scrap pages with these pictures - after i buy some ink of course. until then hopefully i won't take longer in updating my blog.

I know I've been gone a lot lately. It's hard because before I could do anything at work and not worry about getting in trouble. But here there are people constantly watching what you are doing and wondering what it is you should be doing instead of sitting there and doing nothing. Which is what I tend to do a lot of, nothing. It's not my fault they can't give me enough work to fulfill my time. Anyway i have scrap booked in a very long time. Wholeheartedly of course, I do miss it. I need to buy some ink and then I can print some pictures and we'll go from there. I'm exhausted a lot though. I go to sleep around 2am, wake up around 530am, I don't nap and I'm constantly having to watch my kid like a hawk, she is sooo bad. You have no idea. Anyway, so then i do some crafts (ATC is my obsession right now) from like 10-12am.

I completly lost my train of thought I have the worst headache right now, literally pounding from left to right and back and forth again. i feel like i have one of those machines from Saw wrapped around my head pushing the pressure in and just making me feel sick of course. Anywho I've rambled on yet again. I'm going blog hopping today, to show my love to everyone out there and show them Im still here, somewhere.

I'm so addicted to ATC's that it's so hard for me to do a scrapbook page. but i did one at least. even though i hate it. i really wanted to do some of my apple picking pictures but sure enough i searched and searched and searched and could not find any photo aer. so i have to buy paper before i can scrap them. i need to organize my scrap stuff it's a huge mess. i can't even find anything. maybe i'll work on that tomorrow or something. maybe. enjoy!

Apple Picking 2008 (photo heavy)

So we decided on this beautiful day (saturday) to go apple picking. we went to the same place we went to last year and it was great. because this year we went early and there were tons and tons of apples to choose from. last time there weren't many left, still a good amount but not like this time. it was fun and there were so many people there it's like everyone decided to go pick apples that day. i guess it's because it's the first nice saturday that we've had in a while. the usual suspects went, me kirk isabella my mom and my uncle. here are some of the pictures i took. i think they came out pretty good too if i do say so myself lol. i didn't pick as much personally maybe three or four but i was more preoccupied with taking pictures. enjoy more to come with pumpkin picking coming up soon.

Also we cut Isabella's hair. well trimmed the front so that she could see better. even though this isn't the first time her hair has been trimmed it's definitely the first time that i've seen it being done so it's the first time that i was able to take a picture of it. only one though because she kept wanting the camera and she wasn't supposed to move if we were cutting her hair.

I know i'm not that far along on my 50 lo's but i tell you i have been doing a lot of atcs so i think one full scan (9 atc's) should count as one lo. hehehe. But here are three lo's i did not too long ago but have been too lazy to scan and to post. i'm hoping that tomorrow i will be able to do more i have tons of atc's to do and i'm trying to get them done asap. hope you like my work i know i've enjoyed doing them.

So I love this site This is Me and I've been stalking it forever and keep saying that I'm going to do a book about me so I'm finally starting my book. It's going to be 8.5x11 jounral and I'm excited. Here is the first challenge which they just give you a subject and you scrap about it pretty much it just has to be about you. The first challenge was "In My Honest Opinion" So I spoke about money, because honestly that's the only complaint I have about at all is money money money. I did make two ATC's last night and of course I put it in the mail because it's for a swap and never remembered to take a picture of them. Multi-Challenge

Ok, so for this one I went for the gold, I took a note from Phelps and said I want it all ahha. I did this LO for I think like three challenges haha. Hopefully someone likes it enough. I actually had to redo this cause my beautiful lovely daughter got hold of some paint and sure enough painted all over the pictures, she's such a sweetheart isn't she. Got to love those terrible twos haha. So this is my youngest half brother and his girlfriend this weekend at my cousins house. He was so into playing this game that my cousin had that he didn't even notice that we were doing things behind his back and taking pictures of it. LOL she is too funny (his girlfriend).

I did this challenge for Gettin Sketchy the sketch obviously, Magestical Memories - circle, bright colors and Laugh, Method Playground - bows. I think it turned out really nice. I don't usually like multi photo layouts but it didn't turn out half bad hehe. Let's hope someone out there likes it :-)!

Weekend Fun!

I'll be posting pictures of Lo's I did this weekend a little later when I get home. But man what is up with the freaking weather, some serious weird stuff is going on.

So one of my whores came over this weekend ... she got some great homemade grub and we got some lo's done which is always a plus. The balloon festival was good, we didn't go at night but that's ok cause we got pictures of all the balloons during the morning ascension. I think if I go again next year I will only be going to the night one since I haven't been able to see them at night. Can't wait to share the pictures!!!! We did some shopping too, not a lot though gotta keep a tight hand on my cash right now, saving up for when I leave for Cancun!!!

We had a good time though for sure. We need to do it more often though, maybe I'll actually get more stuff done if someone else is around. That's what I think anyway. And I think our significant others would get along great, she thinks so too. We need to go site seeing somewhere I don't know somewhere haha.

After my friend left Kirk was begging me to go out so we decided to go down to the Beach where his friend was heading to. So we were driving down to the beach yesterday and it was fine, a little cloudy nothing more. Then the darkness came then the HARD hitting rain (only to find out after a minute that there was some hail in that rain storm) There was so much rain it was really hard to see except when I yelled to Kirk "TREE ON THE ROAD!!! TREE ON THE ROAD!!!" Apparently a minute before we got that part a lightning bolt had struck the tree and down onto the road it went. Thank god it didn't go deeper into the median or we wouldn't have been able to go around it. So we are moving super super slow with our hazard lights on as is everyone else who is NOT pulled over to the side of the road (let me tell you the majority of people was pulled over). So I see a break in the clouds and luckily it's an exit that we can take to go to the beach which is where we were heading anyway. So we take it and there is flooding on that road. So much so that only one side of the road is open we finally make it through and think we have braved the storm, but nope, once we hit Point Pleasant it starts to rain again (that's the beach town). We pay for parking and sit in the car praying that it will stop raining eventually. After a while we gave up and said screw it we're hungry we are going to make a run for it. So we did and we ate and it was still raining a little bit but then it cleared and everything was good again. We even saw some drunk people fighting saying they weren't drunk with their sober friends. It's hilarious how some people could get so damn intoxicated and in public and soooooo early in the evening, well i can't even call it evening it was still afternoon. Then you're done for the rest of the day. That sux.

Anyhow then after hitting the arcade and winning over 10,000 in ticket points we went to catch up with our friends who were on the other side fishing. Isabella caught a fish (pictures to come later of the day).

So last night I put a kit together to sell on Etsy. I think I'm going to try and make some more kits (hoping they sell - cross fingers). I'm also planning on making some new tags so if anyone h as any suggestions on the kinds of things they would like to see please don't hesitate to suggest. Tonight I'll hopefully be scrapping if not then I'll definitely be setting up to scrap for this weekend cause my whore Chez is coming over for a hot air balloon festival and then we plan on scrapping. Got to get things ready for that. But maybe I'll get at least one LO done tonight. I finally took all the pictures of my camera and put them on the comp so at least that's a start I have plenty that I can scrap that's for sure.

It's really turning out cute, I've never done a clear album so it's completely new to me but so far so good it's actually not as scary as I thought it might be. Ha ha. So expect that I'd say by tomorrowish. Tonight is my cousins birthday and we're going to go to Jose Teja's for some delicious Mexican food, ahhh can't wait!!!! It has been forever and a day since I've been able to scrap at night and man was I happy. My bf started working nights again. Sucks for him but it's great for me cause now I can get our daughter to bed early at night and I can scrap. I actually made this LO for him from the song from Scrapping the music. I thought it was perfect because he's really going to miss coming home and spending time with us. I'm going to miss it too but sometimes it's good to take a break and get to do you're own thing hehe. And the major plus ... I can scrap again in peace!!!! Yipee hehehe. Too happy for words!! Here is another LO I did from a picture that was taken this last weekend at my daughters birthday party. It's of her and her friend Brenda (she's my friend too I'd like to think). We've known her for a good couple of years now and I just couldn't imagine life without knowing her. Even though we've had our ups and downs and she's moody as hell we love her. She makes life exciting. Anywho here's the LO.

gift favors (photos yippee)

Here are the favors I did for Isabella's second birthday party. It was a pillow box with a 3x3 maze book on the inside. It was totally cute and everyone absolutely loved it. Inside I didn't take pics of but it's a baby picture from her announcement letter, a picture from her first birthday party and a picture of her recently taken within the last two weeks.

I made this birthday cake for the party it took three days to make but I loved it. It was five layers and was made with love. It was really the best and coolest cake I've ever made. I also made a barbie cake

The party was definitely a hit we had a great time. It's been many long weeks working on this party and I'm definitely happy it's finally over and done with and now I can go back to saving money for my vacation in August I'm going to Cancun.

She was super shy when they were singing happy birthday to her. There were a lot of people and she didn't know what to do. She knew it was her birthday because for the past week she's been singing happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me. Everywhere we go of course. It's really cute though. She had a great time with all the little kids running around. She doesn't usually have kids to play with because everyone is so far away one day I will get her into a program that she can interact with other kids but for right now money is just not available for that.

I love this picture of her she always has the best facial expressions. She's such a good girl ... most of the time haha. But I love her anyways even when she's bad and I have no patience. She's 2 what can I expect lol.

So I'm a slacker, sue me LOL. No don't I don't have any money to give you haha. I hate this bi-weekly pay thing cause it's just really hard for me haha. I'm used to having money every week like clockwork, you know that way i know what I can and cannot spend. Even though I totally overdid it last week when I went to the expo and hung out with the girls, we or maybe I shopped way too much. But it was definitely a bonus for me because I haven't shopped in like forever. So it was good now all I need to do is find the time to scrap. And take pix of the stuff I did before but have been lazy to do so. Soon I promise! Right now I'm working on 24 Maze books which will be the gift favors for the grown ups for my daughters 2nd birthday. I'm improvising and making them out of whatever I have. For example I'm abusing Basic Grey on it because I'm semi over it and just want to get rid of it as quickly as possible, so this definitely felt like the best way to get rid of old BG paper. I'll definitely take a picture of them when I'm done because I'm putting way too much work into it and I just know that some of the people who will get it will not even appreciate it or who knows I might evn get some people who want to buy some for their own kids cross fingers haha. It's all about the money some times, someone has to pay for my addiction (scrapbooking). Anywho so I'm going to try and finish those tonight and then I'll take some pictures and post and post ones of my previous lo's as well. I need to get back into the groove of things and that crop really helped. I just wish I had that more often. It really helps to get away and do something you love doing.

So I officially love scrapbooking with other people because it definitely makes you more productive. I think I got about 7 layouts done this weekend when meeting some whores. We had a good time, I'm bummed that I missed their DC "hike" but I had to work and couldn't get there any earlier. The drive down was hard because I was so tired but on the way back it wasn't so bad. I think it's definitely something we need to do more often for sure. I'll post pics (they have all of them hopefully they will share when they get a chance) and pics of the LO's I finished. Oh and I love how they tell me your LO's are so cute in real life but they look like crap online LOL. Don't worry one day I'll get a better scanner or actually have time during the day to take pictures. Probably not today since yet again we will be having thunderstorms and I'm so over the rain already. There's been some seriously flooding and light outages around me (not to me personally but around me). Any who let me try and get some work done. I'll update later.

Whorrific Weekend

So I'm going to the expo in Chantilly ... to meet up with some whores, they know who they are. And I can't wait to finally get some scrapping done. I will have a list with me (or i'll pretend to make one in the near future lol) . I just want to get to scrapping you know actually be creative lately my mind has been blocked and deteriorated with work, travelling back and forth, gas, waking up super early, and of course my daughters birthday party which is just around the corner. It's just too much on my plate that I don't have the time to do anything anymore and it doesn't help that my daughter is a disaster right now. Everything she touches it's just a lot right now and I am going to welcome the break. However short it is. Just some good ol me time. This morning I got up with like 5 minutes before I had to leave to go to work, I must have turned my alarm off. It doesn't help that the little one came into my room at 3 in the morning and kept me up for a while. I want to go to a hotel for the night. Just me and the mister. How nice would that be lol. Ugh my mind is everywhere right now so let me try and get back to work since it's only 8am and I've been here for an hour and really haven't accomplished anything yet.

SO I didn’t get to upload my pictures last night because I forgot that I had a dinner to go to and I didn’t get home till 10 so by then I just wanted to shower and go to sleep since I had to be up at 530. so I didn’t even look at the computer last night. And today I’m so tired because I didn’t get much sleep last night I kept having weird dreams about having to go to the bathroom and not finding one that worked or something along those lines. Tonight hopefully I can get something done who knows we’ll see how I feel when I get out of here because it’s been a rainy couple of weeks and that just makes everything more gloomy.

I've been MIA for a bit now it's only cause I have a new job and I've been trying to get used to the hours (7-4 I used to do 8-5) and the drive (I went from 15 minutes to an hour away) and the job (I went from a much more technologically advanced company to one that is still in major developments which makes things a little bit harder) in general. I did about I don't know maybe 4 lo's I haven't scanned them but I did take pictures of them and I'll post tonight after I get home (whenever that might be lol). At least I've done something but they aren't that detailed but I like them just the same Most of the paper is the prize pack that I received from Scrapping the Music. I haven't even looked at a challenge blog in almost 2 weeks ... that's bad for me because I'm usually the one stalking them. You know that lurker that is always online but you don't know who it is ha-ha. Yeah that's me.
Tonight I have a business dinner with my old job. My ex boss is leaving and they are having a going away dinner for it I hope I don't forget about it on my way home. That would be weird. One person thinks they are going to try and offer me my job back but I highly doubt it and do I really want to go back to that uncertainty I don't think so. I need stability sure it would be nice to have a home office, sure it would be nice to get more money, sure it would be nice to cut the commute down but what if it’s only a temporary position that will be eliminated in the near future. Like no thanks buddy you know. If they do it would just have to be something that would take a while to think about. And I would feel soooo unbelievably guilty because I just accepted this job could I honestly without giving it a shot say goodbye to it? Ughh I hate being put in positions like this between a rock and a hard place. Why couldn’t they think of this before I said I was leaving because back then they couldn’t give three flying fucks. We shall see hopefully it’s going to be a good dinner cause I’m just angry just thinking about them even contemplating asking me back.

This LO I just did for fun because I found this paper hidden in the back of all this other paper I was like ooo let me use this as much as I can. I've been so unbelievably good if you look at all my LO's there is nothing new that has just been released unless it was mailed to me in a swap. I mean of course I want some of the new stuff (Sassafrass) but I'm trying to use up what I have and then I might consider getting some more paper but until then ... I need to use it up!

This LO I did for Gettin Sketchy. We recently had a rainbow swap over at We Scrap Better and here are some of the things I got along with some of the things I sent (because you know I had to get the same for me, well almost all the same lol). NSD is this weekend ... what will you be doing? I'm hoping to get some stuff started tonight. Mother's day is next weekend and I want to get that stuff started since I'm making gifts this year. My mom's birthday is just too close to be buying her something else big lol. So I got the Mother chipboard book (I think it's CI) and I'm going to alter that for her. Put some pictures on there and some super cute paper. And then for my friend I'm going to try and make her a blank book that she can put pictures into because we haven't taken pictures lately unless I try and get some pix of them this weekend. I should totally ask for a scanner for my birthday, I'm annoyed with constantly having to try and cut and past pictures together it's a pain in the ass for sure LOL. I'm sure there are still ppl out there who feel me on that lol. Anywho my cousin was supposed to try and come today but all flights were full so instead I stayed home for the day for no reason really. I did get these two lo's done and I would have gotten more done if the lil one wasn't being a pain in the but. Maybe after her father comes home I can try and get one more done. Weekends are TOO short

So I went and say In the Heights the new musical over on Broadway in NY this weekend. It was really good, it totally either reminded me of home or people I know. The Latin community is just too common in the things they go through hehe. I'll post a couple pix later from that trip. Yesterday I did get two Lo's done, I haven't scanned them yet so that will have to wait till I get home later. I hated the first one completely and the second one I really like. So stay tuned ....

Scrapping the Music

So their new song was up and I just had to jump on it. I took my favorite line from the song, "I know I was wrong" because that's definitely a line that I can relate to. Especially lately with all the arguing that has been going on at home. Just a slight rough patch but it's getting through them that makes you stronger and the relationship stronger. I love the songs that Scrapping the Music chooses. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Tuesday Loveliness

My day off and all I got done was one LO, how disappointing but still better than nothing. I really like the way this LO came out and it was totally made for me. I had an interview today, seemed like it went pretty well so that's definitely exciting. Let's see what they offer me when they make their offer, cross your fingers that it will be more than what I make now. I think I'm def worth it. But then again don't we all lol. Hopefully I can get some more Lo's completed tomorrow. It's been pretty hard lately getting stuff done. There's so many challenges I want to partake in and I just don't have the time to do it. Don't you just hate when that happens? Blah to busy days.

Monday Scrappiness

So my great friend Kristi went to Sanrio and bought me some goodies. So I had to start using them (the decorative tape and the envelope flap that I used). Love everything and can't wait to use more of it. I have to find one that's close to me although who knows when the hell I'll be able to scrap again since who knows if I'll have a job by the end of the month. They pretty much told me today that I should start looking, great! I hate going to interviews and just talking to strangers who will never know the real me from a 30 minute interview. I'm a damn hard worker and will be more than happy to prove it to anyone who will give me the opportunity. And man do I need an opportunity and quickly lol.

This Lo I did for a good friend of mine who is now on the DT at Scrapgal, Chez. Here's the link to her challenge here. She gives the best goodies in her rak/prizes so make sure you all go and try her lift. It's really a cute one, as a matter of fact here's my take on it.

I probably won't be scrapping much today (Tuesday) I have the worst headache yet again. Isabella just couldn't sleep last night so of course that means that mommy can't sleep either. Cause we all know daddy is too lazy to stay awake with us instead he was snoring away. So nice of him I know (note the sarcasm and ping of jealousy). I don't know what's wrong with her either she's a little sick or having nightmares or both I can't really tell because she keeps waking up crying, and saying she's scared. Anyone out there have any suggestions on what it could be would be greatly appreciated lol.

I absolutely love how this lo turned out ... I did this just for me cause sometimes I get so tired and forget to take a minute for myself and just breathe. It's very simple but super cute imo lol. Scrapping the Music

Another fabulous challenge from Scrapping the Music I used the very first line in the song, "Turn it Up" by Aaron Lines. I thought it was perfect for my beach pictures that I had taken last year and am now getting to. Unfortunately my scanner isn't one of those big ones so I can't get the entire LO on one pic so cut and paste for me, but it cut off my little post it at the bottom. Love my super cute kawaii stuff!!

My roll has died down

Unfortunately the past two days have been long and long and even longer and I haven't had time to do any scrapbooking, which really sucks because I was on a roll there. Bummer! Isabella didn't feel like going to sleep until like 10 today and after that I was just too tired so I gave up and relaxed and started watching some TV. Don't you just love drama in the kitchen (Top Chef) well don't we just love drama in general haha I know I do. If you have gossip let me know I want to hear it. Just ask any of my whores I always seem to pop in just at the right moment to hear the juicy details. So I'm on a scrapping mission to try and scrap every day .. let's see how it works out lol. Here are two Lo's I did tonight. As you can tell I have tons of old pictures that I still need to get that. I remember once when I was completely caught up with everything, not so much now LOL. But I'm trying! That should count for something right LOL.

Fools In Luv

I made this layout for two different challenges. Scrapdragons which is to use the word Fool, no product of the same line twice and something unexpected not meant for scrapbooking (I used a penny hehe). And Method Playground which requested the use of paper piercing. I loved this picture (even though Kirk's face is a little scrunchy in it from the sun lol). It was just a good and happy day. Can't wait for the summer and more fun times in different places. I'm so excited for the weather to start getting better (I'm literally jumping inside my body right now just thinking of this summer LOL). Thanks for checking out my LO.

So my whores finally made a blog, it's called We Scrap Better. It's a place for us to check each other's work out and of course to meet new people because blogging is where it is right now lol. The first inspiration is to do a lift that was based on ANTM advertisement I believe. Here's my take on the lift. Everyone don't forget to check out our blog and please feel free to participate. I really like how this LO turned out too. It's just perfect (plus I'm a little narcissistic cause I just LOVE my picture).

I scanned the LO, Kelly are you proud of me now LOL. It's slightly miscolored when I added them but I'll work on that for the next time for now this will have to do since it's almost midnight and I'm tired as hell.
